He continued by reading a translation of an email sent by Jon Zuercher to the secretary in which Jon Zuercher informed about his intention to be absent as along as Georges Capt has not re-joined the club. The president will try to discuss this matter with Jon Zuercher and George Capt personally.
He then asked the board and floor to present or raise points of common interest.
Priti Kapur
There will be a magic show at the Westin Hotel on 2 October. Tickets are IDR 50.000,- per person. Lessons in magic art can be had before the show for IDR 100.000,- per person. All proceeds will go UNICEF.
Keith Bell
Reflected on the withdrawals of Jon Zuercher and George Capt from the club. They came to him as a surprise and he regrets them the more so as the former being a founding member and the first president the latter appearing to him when a novice as the embodiment of Rotary and a person to look up to.
However, judging from his time in a Canadian service organization, experienced people do leave and new members come in to continue the work with fresh vigor.
PP Ed Naus
Is of the opinion that the membership situation needs careful analysis.
Ari Murti
Would like to involve Rotaract more in activities surrounding the battle against Aids but reminded that with the departure of Jon Zuercher a new chair person Youth Committee will be needed.
She proposed to prepare brochures to support the club’s anti Aids campaign.

On the background of wanting to attract more Indonesian members it was discussed to make the TRF contribution of USD 100.00 not mandatory and with regard to cost of luncheons to introduce a two tier cost structure.
