ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS
President Bruce Jellard
President Bruce Jellard opened the meeting welcoming the guests and thanked the members present for their attendance.
Bali Medex is supporting the Rotary Golf tournament by putting up a hole in one price of IDR 50.000.000,- . Also Heineken and CocaCola could be gained again as sponsors.
He then asked the board and floor to present or raise points of common interest.
Karl-Heinz Schmelzer
He informed that Rotaract Nusa Dua has started a campaign to support victims of the Mentawai sunami and Merapi eruption by collecting clothing and money. Rotaract ND is asking for support from RCBND.
Ari Murti
She asked the members to help identify midwifes in their neighbourhood interested in the midwife training program.
PP Martin Smyth
The Jakarta Post reported HIV in Indonesia being on the rise. He was surprised to read that funding to combat this development comes 65% from abroad.
He suggested to donate to Shelterbox as the club’s contribution towards help for victims of the Mentawai sunami and Merapi eruption.
Gary Phair
The Tennis Committee has been in session prior to the member luncheon. The 20th Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua Charity Tennis Tournament has been scheduled for 15-23 May 2011 to be played over two week ends.
PP Jo Rosarius
He reported two cleft lip operations having taken place last week.

Raffle
Tickets for IDR 380.000,- were sold. Risto Poskiparta won a pearl neckless sponsored by past winner Priti Kapur. In addition Sergeant at Arms PP Edward Naus autioned off a bottle of local red wine he discovered deep in the the clubs wine cellar. The bottle went after some exiting bidding to Alexandre Correia for IDR 60.000,- . Past winners owing prizes are reminded not to forget to make their contributions at the forthcoming meetings.
Fines
Fines of IDR 20.000,– were collected for all and sundry offences.
