ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS
President Bruce Jellard
President Bruce Jellard opened the meeting welcoming a guest, visitors and members with the Season Greetings.
He pointed out that this luncheon meeting will be the last held in 2010.
Bruce briefed the floor on the first Receipts & Payments Statement prepared by himself with PP Jo Rosarius. Copy of the document was delivered to the members.
Bruce informed, that today the club need to decide President Nominee for 2012/2013.
Originally there were 2 nominees, but finally only one stayed as standing nominee; Karl-Heinz Schmelzer.
Karl-Heinz was elected unanimously.
He then asked the board and floor to present or raise points of common interest.
PP Mimi Inkiriwang
She was a bit dissappointed, that only about 300 children from various orphanages participated this year’s Christmas Party at Grand Hyatt Hotel. Normally more participant in the previous years.
Shyamashree Sen
She delivered greetings from her club and the flag from Rotary Club of Calcutta Metro City was exchanged with Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua by President Bruce Jellard.
Theo Vermeulen
He has lived 7 years in Bali and runs an orphanage in Tabanan.

Willem van Rijswijk
He was happy to visit us again and was eager to promote RCBNC’s cleft lip program and other activities back in Holland.
PP Edward Naus
He was pleased to hear, that Willem will tell in his club, as our matching grant partner, about our activities in cleft lip program by using some supporting documents.
PP Michael Burchett
Firstly before the meeting was opened, PP Michael appologized about missing AC, as power outage from PLN and promissed to arrange some fans get some air circulation.
He told that in the Christmas Party for Orphanages was really a great day! There were in total of 334 participants from 12 orphanages; 298 children and 36 assistants. PP Michael also described the content of the goodie bags.
The organizing team had raised IDR 38,3 million to cover the cost and the balance of IDR 9,4 million will be credited back to golf funds, as some of the items auctioned came from golf funds.
PP Jo Rosarius
According to Jo, there were still 5 more photos to be taken out of 28 operated children.
This is my life story
PP Bruce Jellard got the honor to tell his life story, which turned out be really interesting, even to write a book about it.

Tickets for IDR 500.000,- were sold. Theo Wermeulen won a nice bottle of wine. Past winners owing prizes are reminded not to forget to make their contributions at the forthcoming meetings.
