ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS
President Bruce Jellard
President Bruce Jellard opened the meeting welcoming the guest speakers and members.
He welcomed Pariama, guest speaker invited by Nunie, and his old friend Martin O’neil and Engineering Consultant, currently residing in Sanur who will make a presentation
on a proposal to clean up Sanur beach.
He thanked Priti Kapur for filling in for Secretary Karl-Heinz who will be away for 2 weeks.
As Mandala Airlines has filed for bankruptcy, everyone who bought Mandala Airlines tickets that were auctioned at the rotary Christmas party will have their money returned.
He also confirmed that the 8 Nikko Hotel guests who played in our golf tournament without paying the entry fee would be paid for by the Nikko Hotel.
He then asked the board and floor to present or raise points of common interest.

Introduced herself to the members.
PP Mercia Inkiriwang
Advised that blankets were needed for victims of the Jogja disaster and asked if hotels would consider donating any of their old blankets.
Nunie
Said she would be going to Jogja next week and would be happy to carry any donations with her.
Gary Phair
Is glad to be back. He brought back a banner from the Rotary Club of Buderim. The Buderim club begins their meeting with members reciting the 4 way test, and ends with
them singing the National anthem.
Gary will be calling a tennis committee meeting in the next week.
Eddie Fritzgerald
Hopes to double his attendance of last year.
PP Jo Rosarius
Reported that 2 of the operations of last week were not on children we sponsor and adjusted our figures to reflect this.
Pariama

As time ran out, Martin O’Neil made his presentation to the community services committee who met at 2pm, immediately after the meeting.
