ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS
President Bruce Jellard
President Bruce Jellard opened the meeting welcoming the guests and members.

He informed that there will be no luncheon meeting on 3 February as it falls on Chinese New Year, a public holiday in Indonesia. For the same reason the Board Meeting will be postponed to 10 February.

He will be on winter holiday in Dubai and England for most of the month of February and therefore will miss all meetings in February.

The Tennis Committee had been in session this morning.

The District conference this year will be held in Bali scheduled to commence 9 June.

This year’s Golf Tournament organized by Western Australian Rotary Clubs will be held at Royal Perth GC on 20 May.

He then asked the board and floor to present or raise points of common interest.

Karl-Heinz Schmelzer
He informed that he will be likely away for the second half of February.

Gary Phair
The Tennis Committee will launch a publicity campaign soon under involvement of social networks.

PP Mercia Inkiriwang
She just returned from the Rotary Foundation conference held in Yogyakarta. RI has agreed the clubs not willing to sign the Club Assembly Agreement may now apply and obtain grants when fulfilling certain other requirements. Details will be provided shortly.

The District is targeting the splitting of Indonesia into three independent Districts.

Monty Brown
He is contact with Dunlop regarding the sponsoring of the Tennis Tournament including the donation of 48 dozen of tennis balls.

Priti Kapur
The Rotaract Fund Raising Dinner will be held on 19 February at the Ayodya Hotel. Members are asked to attend and to donating prices for auction.

PP Jo Rosarius
Reported that the cleft lip operations of two children had been paid and pictures had been taken of three kids going to be operated.

Raffle
Tickets for IDR 420.000,- were sold. Kiki Brown won 90 minutes massage at Jari Menari sponsored by Susan Stein. Past winners owing prizes are reminded not to forget to make their contributions at the forthcoming meetings.

Fines
Fines of IDR 40.000,– were collected for all and sundry offences.
