ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS
President Bruce Jellard
President Bruce Jellard opened the meeting welcoming the guest and members with best wishes for the New Year.
He continued by briefing the members on important points raised during the Board Meeting held prior to the luncheon.
- Rotary Club Bali Benoa appears to be proceeding with holding a tennis tournament at roughly the same time as ours. As soon as the Chair of the Tennis Committee, Gary Phair, has returned from leave an advertising campaign shall be launched highlighting the fact that Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua is holding the genuine 20th Rotary Tennis Tournament.
- The Club will be approaching candidates for the position of Club Secretay 2011-2012.
- That there will be a President Elect Training Seminar (PETS) in Jakarta in February which Dave Lance will attend.
- The treasurer and he will present a full set of accounts to the members at next weeks’ meeting covering the first 6 months of RY 2010-2011.
- The 2010 Rotary Golf Tournament has reaped in USD 31.400,–.
- That there are some members with a pretty low attendance.
He then asked the board and floor to present or raise points of common interest.

Though there are members with a low attendance the majority of members attend meeting or make up events on a fairly regular basis. Members with a hundert per cent attendance for the first half of this Rotary Year were:

He is looking forward to attending the President Elect Training Seminar (PETS) in Jakarta.

She reported on the results of the breast milk supplement project for HIV positive mothers.
Susan Stein
She moved recently to Bali. She is a trainer for therapists at the Jari Menari Spa which is located opposite the Conrad.
Bipan Kapur
While others were vaccationing those active in the hospitaity business had to works their butts off during the festive season. He believes 2011 will hold good prospects.
Keith Bell
He was assured that the District Governor is involved in solving the conflict between Benoa and Nusa Dua.
PP Jo Rosarius
Next week there will be several cleft lip operations.

Raffle
Tickets for IDR 480.000,- were sold. PP Risto Poskiparta won. This time a dinner for two at the Peninsula sponsored by Roger Thomas. In order to build up a stock of Raffles prices also three lucky loosers were drawn who are all to bring prizes to the next meeting. The lucky looser were:

Past winners owing prizes are reminded not to forget to make their contributions at the forthcoming meetings.
