ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS
President Bruce Jellard
As President Bruce Jellard welcomed members and visitors. He mentioned that Dr. Reno would soon be joining our meetings as a member and not a guest.
He asked the floor to present or raise points of common interest.
Dave Lance
Advised there would be a 30 minute board meeting at 12 noon on Thursday 22 June primarily to discuss the environmental project.
Ari Murti
On 29 May 2011 Bandung awaded 3 NGO’s for their work with HIV Aids. UNESCO, BTDC and Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua. She handed the award certificate to President Bruce Jellard.
Gary Phair
Introduced Wayan, a member of the RCB Legian, who assisted our club recently with advice and in responding to some letters.
PP Mimi Inkiriwang
Updated members on the district conference June 11 and 12. She, Karl Heinz and Dave attended. The next conference will be held in Bandung, she passed around flyers and encouraged members to attend.
Mimi handed several award certificates to President Bruce for distribution.
She has a lengthy powerpoint presentation on the Rotary Foundation Vision plan which she will email to members.
Dr Reno
Said he was looking forward to becoming a member and contributing to the club, particularly with his medical expertise.
Keith Bell
Spoke at length of the activities of a club he had visited while in Mexico. He attended their board meeting. 2 major projects were providing a water filtration plant so schools could have clean drinking water, and putting smart financially challenged children through school. Both these projects involved matching grants.
He recommended a (blackberry and I phone) application called club finder with which you could locate clubs wherever in the world you were travelling.
PP Jo Rosarius
Eni put out the work via Facebook that our club was able to assist children with cleft palates and the result has been excellent. 8 operations were performed last week.
Sandra and Riris
Of the Rotaract Club Bali Nusa Dua made a presentation on the Rotaract District Conference.

Raffle
Tickets for IDR 400.000,- were sold. The prize was a beautiful sarong, and the winner was Keith Bell. Past winners owing prizes are reminded not to forget to make their contributions at the forthcoming meetings.
Fines
Fines of IDR 50.000,- were collected for all and sundry offences.
