ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS
Risto Poskiparta
Vice President Risto Poskiparta welcomed members.


He advised that the first CSM for this year had taken place prior to the lunch meeting, and requested Karl Heinz to update the members when the microphone reached him.


The website has been updated by Wes, and members are requested to forward photos etc to Wes to keep the website up to date.


A wrap up meeting of the Tennis committee 2011 would take place after the lunch meeting.


Vice President Risto would be attending the District meeting on the 29th (in place of President Dave), along with Club Secretary Priti Kapur.

Priti Kapur
Requested members to advise by email of any make up meetings. These need to reach her by the end of each month for inclusion in attendance figures sent to District. Make ups include: other club meetings, our clubís board and committee meetings, Rotaract meetings. Other club/project related meetings/ appointments/ activities as approved by the club President are included too. Please contact her for any clarifications.

PP Michael Burchett
Circulated a contact list to members who had been unable to open the attachment he emailed, to be completed and returned to him.

PP Mercia Inkiriwang
Advised that District 3400 Global grants no longer required tobe in partnership with Future Vision Clubs. Any Club was eligible.

Karl-Heinz Schmelzer
Listed the projects the Club community service projects:

  • Cleft palate program
  • Mid wife training program
  • Cintanak project
  • Operation of the boy
  • Infants nutition program
  • Sawangan waste management pilot program (MOA to be signed)

New proposals :

  • Mid wife training in Kunkung in conjunction with BIWA
  • Operation of a young boy with bone disease

PP Edward Naus
Offered 6 bags of baby clothes and toys left by a hotel guest for delivery to an orphanage. Ari undertook to have the items distributed.

PP Jo Rosarius
The operation of the boy has exceeded the allocated amount and another operation is required. He would discuss this with the Community Service Committee.


He listed the annual dues and requested members to pay:

  • USD 70,- Rotary International
  • IDR 240,000,- District Dues
  • USD 100,- To Rotary International. Up to last year this has been compulsory, but is now a voluntary donation. Jo strongly urged all members to make this donation.

Raffle
Tickets for IDR 320.000,- were sold. Jengala pottery won by Michael Burchett, who is requested to bring in next weekís raffle prize. Past winners owing prizes are reminded not to forget to make their contributions at the forthcoming meetings.

Fines
Fines of IDR 80.000,ñ were collected for all and sundry offences.
