ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS
Risto Poskiparta
Vice President Risto Poskiparta welcomed members and updated everyone on the Board of Directors meeting held prior to the weekly luncheon meeting.
- MOU with the Role foundation for the environmental project, has been signed, and there is a 3 month start up period during which a suitable Pick up truck needs to be identified, a MOU reached with the Banjar, equipment and staff sourced, etc.
- The prognosis of the boy with the facial deformaty, who has now had 2 operations, is good. A review by the board wll be made if further operations become necessary. The Australian from an oil company who brought this boy to our attention has indicated that they will help look for additional funding.
- The MOU for Global Grants has been signed by our club officers and will be forwarded to District.
- The 3 shelter boxes we had paid for (no.s 21,22 and 23) reached Mentawai on November 15th. The board will concider fundraising activites to raise money for annual donations of 3 Shelter Boxes.
- The tennis committee would re convene on Gary’s return. It has been decided to runa competition to design the new logo for the tournament.
- The current 3 year library project (Vocational Services) would come to an end in Jan 2012. Martin will put together a committee and explore other vocational projects.
- WEF 2012, Dist 3400 will split into 2, for a trial period of 3 years. Bali will become part of Dist 3420 and have its own DG. A committee of 5 PDG’s and 4 PP’s is being formed to interview prospective DG’s. PP Mimi will be nominated by our club to be on the committee.
- PDG Al Purwa has suggested District 3420 have its own Rotary centre, using half the district dues. The board is of the opinion that if additional funds are require, funds we raise for charity will not be used for administration of a centre.

Advised that the club’s annual charity Golf tournament would be on November 12th.

Informed members the Westin courts would not be availabe for the 2012 tournamant.

Requested members to pay their annual dues:

Dr. Reno Riandita
Made two very generous offers. Firstly to examine the 2 children referred by Rtn. Eni, and have a dermatologist examine them at no cost, and second, also to have the follow up on the boy with the facial deformity done at his hospital (with the surgeon that performed the operation), again at no cost.

Raffle
Tickets for IDR 580.000,- were sold. The prize was golf for 4, mid week, and the winner was Bipan Kapur. Past winners owing prizes are reminded not to forget to make their contributions at the forthcoming meetings.
