ANNOUNCEMENTS, REPORTS
President Dave Lance
President Dave Lance welcomed members. President Dave welcomed members. He regretted that our Guest Speaker, DG Mohammad Ridlo, was not present.

President Dave reported that there had been a lot of good discussion at the board meeting preceding the lunch meeting and Dave requested updates on the projects.

He also reported that members Dona and Risto Poskiparta were blessed with a healthy baby boy on the morning of 1 Dec!!!

A meeting to finalise details of the upcoming Orphans Christmas Party at the Grand Hyatt Bali on Friday Dec 16th, would be held immediately today’s lunch meeting.

Members were informed that the outing of the new Rotaract program “Hip Hip child”, had taken place. Two under privileged children were taken to the Taman Safari park. Eight tickets were arranged by Bipan. Rotaract would greatly appreciate if any other members could assist in this way.

Details of our annual Holiday season party would be circulated as soon as finalised.

PP Jo Rosarius
PP Jo Rosarius updated us on the Cleft palate program. He advised there had been four operations in the last week.

Karl-Heinz Schmelzer
Karl-Heinz Schmelzer informed all that the waste management pilot project would be inaugurated at 1.00pm on Sat. 03 December at the Sawangan Village. This is an auspicious day on the Balinese calendar, being a day when priests bless vehicles and machinery. There would be a blessing from the Sawangan priest after which the truck would place the waste bins in their designated spots. Eco Bali would make a presentation. All members were invited to attend.

Ari Murti
Ari mentioned a new project idea – a scholarship program for HIV children, she will present a proposal at the joint CSM/Vocational services meeting on Dec 8.

PP Edward Naus
PP Edward Naus indicated that he was in possession of the details of expenditure of the funds provided to him toward the Cintanak Project. He would forward them Karl Heinz soon.

PP Mercia Inkiwirang
PP Mimi announced that the Rotary Institute, to be held this weekend in Nusa Dua, would be attended by herself and President Dave.

Raffle
Tickets for IDR 530,000.- were sold. A bottle of Compari was won by Keith Bell, who auctioned it off (winning bid of Rp.250,000.- is included in the above amount. Past winners owing prizes are reminded not to forget to make their contributions at the forthcoming meetings.

Fines
Fines of IDR 40.000,- were collected for all and sundry offences.
