Dona also advised that our District representative (President Vonny from Bali Taman) invited our club to share our charity events/project to be post in Radar News paper, a local news paper. If you have a good idea (but only charity project (not fundraising) please inform Vonny.

Dona then circled the microphone for member updates.

Report for Global Grant to be completed this week and sent to Germany next week for review.

PP Edward Naus
For our Charity Golf Day, Stark Beer sponsorship has been secured and will follow up with potential Master of ceremonies and auctioneer. Several names were suggested.

As well, Edward stated that he is currently reviewing various entertainment options for our 25th Anniversary Dinner later this year. Goal is to secure the artists at no cost.

Rtn Mark Holland
For Charity Golf Day, option for Corkage Fee to be finalised at Golf Day Coordination Meeting on Friday April 7 2017. Also for BBQ Dinner after the tournament, a system needs to be set up for identifying and charging dinner (only) guests.

PP Wes
PP Wes announced Good News in that Don’s new born granddaughter successfully went thru two heart operations in Singapore the last two weeks and has now returned to Bali.

Suggested Kolewa be present and provide a slide show at the Golf Day BBQ Dinner to highlight the work that RCND undertakes.

PP Edward then suggested that the Kolewa Medicar be displayed at one of the holes during the tournament. Hole 8 Green seems a suitable location.

Advised that Syta, Director of Kolewa, is currently scheduled to present the medical and an update on Kolewa’s various programs at the weekly lunch meeting on April 20 2017. Confirmation is contingent upon RC Bali Seminyak’s ability to join the meeting.

PP Wes reported that Kolewa recently reached out on Twitter seeking financial assistance for “Janu” a young man severely burned with boiling oil. Specifically Kolewa is seeking funds to transport Janu to Bali surgery (surgery will be covered by BPJS. PP Wes suggested the club consider promoting certain select fundraising initiatives on the club’s website and facebook similar to “Go Fund Me” (but for local donors and without the 7.9% overhead).
