Rotaract
Inside the Rotary world Rotaract is the future, outside Rotary most people have yet to
learn of it and and the tremendous opportunities it brings to a community. In a nutshell Rotaract brings young students, businessmen and women and promising leaders from18–30 years of age together to address social and economic issues in their communities and bring about solutions for change.
Sponsored and mentored by a Rotary club, Rotaract clubs bring together active and concerned young people to develop initiatives with professionals in their community while providing opportunities to improve their communication, leadership and professional skills, and have fun along the way.,
Members of the sponsoring Rotary Club offer guidance and support and work with
‘Rotaractors’ as partners in service. Held to the same high ethical standards embodied in Rotary’s Four Way Test Rotaractors learn responsibility deciding how to organise their clubs, raise and manage funds, and plan and execute activities and projects as they prepare to become active Rotariatwork and share experiences with like minded friends while at thesame time can reach out to older Rotarians for guidance and mentoring.
Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua began its commitment to Bali’s youth in 2006 sponsoring the charter of Rotaract Club Bali Nusa Dua. Comprised primarily of students from Udayana University the maintains a membership of 12-20 young persons. From Hip-Hop kids where Rotaractors accompany children who are ill and economically disadvantaged to amusement parks and other fun activities to holding hands with and listening to senior citizens on Valentine's Day, our Rotarctors are out in the
community making a difference.
